Communication & The Generational Divide

With five generations actively engaged in civic life, service organizations, activism, and the workplace, communication challenges are bound to emerge. Some even blame the current state of polarization on the generational divide. Largely because each generation is in part defined by the communication innovations that occurred during their transition into adulthood. How do we move past generational differences and embrace the broad perspectives intergenerational teams bring to solving complex problems. This session will share some obvious and less obvious distinctions of each generation and discuss where we might find common ground and common purpose.
