Rotary Global Grant Opportunity

We are excited to share an opportunity to learn more about the Dignity Kit Project: Restoring the Dignity of Women & Girls in Uganda (Global Grant #2579763).

This project, hosted by the Rotary Club of Kasangati (Uganda) with international partner Community Action Against Human Trafficking (Kansas, USA), addresses the critical issue of menstrual hygiene management by training women to produce reusable sanitary pads. The initiative will help girls stay in school, reduce health risks, and restore dignity to young women in underserved communities.

Faron Barr (Topeka South Rotary Club and Rotary Past Governor of District 5710 -- 2020-2021) and Jennifer Montgomery (Rotary Peace Fellow, Magenta Girls Initiative) will present the project.

This project is ready to launch but still requires additional financial support. We encourage you to invite your club’s international service and global grant committee members to join us and learn how they can get involved.
