2022-08-25 07:00:00Z	Aug 25, 2022		Robin Singer & Anjali Tamang	Preventing Human Trafficking to Brothels of India from Nepal		Aug 25, 2022 7:00 AM			We will be describing the plight of undereducated, impoverished, low status girls and women from a mountainous village in Nepal, and the human trafficking survivor who courageously returned to her village to found a school and "stand in the way" of the practices in that village (trafficking of young girls and child marriage). We will be describing the way Rotary clubs can support anti-trafficking work, which can be especially effective if survivors have received a good education and gone from being victims to becoming human rights advocates.
